so i got a call back from a job in indianapolis. they are based out of fort collins, colorado. +10 cool points. i told him i loved their beer (fat tire). ok not really. beer wouldnt be on my top 5 things to bring up in a phone interview. in any case, he asked me what i would need to make to come work for them.
LIFE LESSON #3: DONT EVER ANSWER THAT QUESTION UNLESS YOU HIGHBALL IT!
i mentioned what i made now. than told him what i believed to be a decent salary living in indianapolis. i could almost hear the smirk on his face. he said ” umm thats not a problem” so apparently i shouldve asked for 10 or 20 more grand a year from a company that works with primarily forture 500 companies.
anyway, im not sure the job will be offered to me in the end. we’ll see. there were 5 others he contacted that day. though he did repeat a couple times i and another guy were the most experienced on paper.
tomorrow cuba goes to nashville to record an ep! im more excited about this than the job. we are recording at sony tree studios, by far the most professional studio we have ever stepped foot in. we’ve been practicing the hell out of 4 or 5 songs. so we hope all goes smoothly.
